Methodology and independence of Bigbuda’s rankings

Direct answer

Bigbuda publishes rankings of digital marketing agencies in which it also appears, so they are not independent in the strict sense. So that you can audit them, we declare the conflict in each ranking, publish the criteria with their weight, the review date and the source of each data point, do not charge to appear or sell featured positions, show how the result changes if the weights change and keep the data open. Use them as a starting point for research, not as a verdict: Bigbuda’s position depends on how the criteria are weighted.

1. Who publishes and what interest it has

Bigbuda is a digital marketing, CRO and web design agency, with offices in Santiago and Toronto. We compete in the market we evaluate and we appear in our rankings. In addition, we have an agreement with Milimetrix to mention each other on our comparison pages: the links are not paid, carry nofollow and do not change any score. As of the review date of this page (November 3, 2026), Milimetrix's rankings do not include Bigbuda.

2. What part of the score comes from third parties

The digital marketing ranking adds up to 100 points with five criteria and a published formula:

CriterionPointsWhere the data comes fromDoes the agency control it?
Google reviews40Google Maps listing (rating and count)No: each client leaves them from their own account
Clutch reviews15Clutch profileNo: Clutch verifies them
Verifiable age15Domain registration (NIC Chile or ICANN) and Internet ArchiveNo
Published price15What the agency publishes on its siteYes
Cases with a named client15What the agency publishes on its siteYes

70 of the 100 points come from data the agency does not control; 30 come from what each agency publishes on its own site.

Formula and weights: digital marketing ranking page, September 24, 2026. Date the weights were set: not on record.

3. What happens if the weights change

We recalculated the 55-agency ranking (public data from September 24, 2026, with Bigbuda at 0 points in “published price” because it does not publish prices today) with other weights. Each criterion is converted to its percentage of the maximum and weighted again.

ScenarioBigbuda’s position (of 55)ScoreWho comes first

How to read it: Bigbuda comes first with the published weights, with equal weights and when only external data count, because it has the largest number of verified reviews in the group. It drops to 3rd if Google reviews do not count and to 10th if Clutch reviews do not count either. First place depends on reviews carrying weight; it is a choice of criteria, not a fact. If you think another criterion should weigh more, the data are open so you can redo it.

Calculated on November 3, 2026 with the ranking’s data file (55 agencies, 5 scores per agency). The 5,000 random combinations use a fixed seed, so the result can be repeated.

4. The audit of other rankings includes us too

In the audit of 31 agency listings cited by AI, Bigbuda is evaluated with the same six-criterion rubric and scores 80 out of 100, losing the 20 independence points for editing rankings in which it appears. In that table we come first by 1 point over AdWorld Latam (79). Do not take that order as a verdict: the rubric and the score of each listing are published in Ranking of agency rankings in Chile (in Spanish).

5. What we do not do

  • We do not charge to appear or sell featured positions in any of our rankings.
  • We do not use data that cannot be checked with a public link: if an agency has no evidence for a criterion, it scores 0 on that criterion.
  • We do not assign scores based on impressions or commercial relationships.

Frequently asked questions

Are Bigbuda’s rankings independent?

Not strictly: Bigbuda edits the rankings and appears in them. That is why we publish the criteria with their weight, the date and the source of each data point, we do not charge to appear, and we show how the result changes if the weights change.

Does Bigbuda charge to appear in its rankings?

No. We do not charge to appear or sell featured positions in any of our rankings. An agency that does not appear, or that believes a data point is wrong, can write to hola@bigbuda.com with the evidence.

Why does Bigbuda come first in its own rankings?

Because with the published weights it has the largest number of verified reviews in the group, and reviews weigh 55 of the 100 points between Google and Clutch. If Google reviews do not count, Bigbuda drops to third place in the 55-agency ranking. First place depends on how the criteria are weighted.

What part of the score comes from data the agency does not control?

70 of the 100 points: Google reviews (40), Clutch reviews (15) and the verifiable age of the domain (15). The other 30 come from what each agency publishes on its site: published price and cases with a named client.

How do I know whether an agency ranking in Chile is reliable?

Check that it explains the methodology and the weight of each criterion, shows the update date, distinguishes positions earned on merit from paid ones, declares whether the owner appears in its own listing and allows data to be corrected. A ranking without those five things should not be used as a verdict.

Where is the data to redo the ranking?

On each ranking page there is a table with each agency’s points per criterion and a downloadable data file. With that you can change the weights and calculate a different order.

How do I ask you to evaluate my agency or correct a data point?

Write to hola@bigbuda.com with the public link that supports the data point. We reply within five business days and record the date of any change.
