Agencies Recommended by AI in Chile 2026.

What this page measures and what it does not

This page does not offer an opinion on which agency is best. It measures one single thing, verifiable and unlike anything else published in Chile: which agencies the artificial intelligence engines name when someone asks them for a recommendation. It is not a survey, it is not an editorial selection and it does not depend on anyone paying to appear. It is the result of asking four engines and counting who they name.

It matters because that is where the decision is moving. When someone looks for an agency today, a growing share of the answer is delivered by an assistant before the person ever reaches the traditional results. Being in that answer or not is no longer a technical detail: it is the difference between making the shortlist and not existing.

The measurement is carried out by Bigbuda with an AI answer monitoring tool, and that has to be said up front: we are part of the market we are measuring and we come out first in the result. That is why we publish the full method, the date and the entire listing, including the competitors that beat us on specific criteria. Anyone can repeat the measurement by asking those same questions to the four engines.

The gap between first and second place is the most striking thing in the table: 14.1% against 5.2%, almost triple. And below fourth place the differences become minimal, a matter of tenths, which means that from there on no agency holds a consolidated position in AI answers. The market is practically wide open.

Each engine recommends different things, and that changes the strategy

The least intuitive finding of this measurement is that the four engines do not agree. Asked the same thing on the same day, each one names a different set of agencies. A real example, with the query “which SEO agency do you recommend in Chile?”:

MotorAgencias que nombró
Google AI OverviewsMarketboost, Metrix, SEO Austral, Seology, Seonet, iProspect Chile
PerplexityBigbuda, Cebra, Lookers, Loup, MAAD Marketing, Milimetrix, Nexbu, Online Media, Postedin
ChatGPTSEO Austral, Loup, Seology, Urban Marketing
Modo IA de GoogleAgencia SEO Chile, Marketing4eCommerce, Metrix, Postedin, SEO Austral, Seology

Only one agency appears in all four. The practical consequence for anyone hiring is that asking a single assistant gives you a partial picture: it is worth asking the same question in two or three and comparing. And the consequence for agencies is that working on visibility in one engine does not guarantee it in the others.

Where AI gets its recommendations from

Reviewing which pages each engine cites to support its answers, an uncomfortable pattern emerges: a good share of the sources are rankings published by agencies that place themselves in first place. In the query about the best SEO agencies, the three listings cited by Google’s AI Mode are edited by agencies, and in all three the top spot goes to the publisher itself or to a company in the same group.

This does not mean those lists are lying. It means the engine does not distinguish between an editorial ranking and a self-promotional one, and that whoever reads the answer has no way of noticing either. We published a full audit of that phenomenon, with the criteria and the sources, in our analysis of agency rankings in Chile.

The lesson for any agency that wants to appear in these answers is that the way in is not publishing yet another listing of its own, but getting sources it does not control to say the same thing its site says: verifiable reviews, profiles in real directories, mentions in the media and data that can be checked without asking the agency for permission.

Frequently asked questions about AI recommendations

How does artificial intelligence know which agency to recommend?

It combines what it learned during training with what it finds on the web at the moment of answering, depending on the engine. It favours sources that are clear, recent and corroborated by each other: content that answers the question directly, structured data that tells it what each page is about, and agreement between what a brand says about itself and what third parties say about it.

Can you pay to have AI recommend my agency?

Not directly: there is no advertising slot inside the organic answer of these engines today. What does happen, and is worth knowing, is that some of the listings AI cites as a source do charge to include or feature companies. In other words, you do not pay the engine, but you can pay one of the sources the engine reads.

How often do these recommendations change?

Quite often. Between two measurements a single day apart you already see position changes in second and third place. That is why a one-off measurement is no conclusion: what tells you something is the trend sustained over weeks, and any figure published should carry its date, as the one on this page does.

Why does my agency appear in one engine and not another?

Because each one relies on different sources. Perplexity and ChatGPT with browsing read the web live and tend to cite specific pages; Google’s products also rely on their own index and on the local pack. An agency with a strong Google profile and reviews may appear in Google’s products and not in Perplexity, and one with a good editorial presence may have the opposite case.

What is share of voice in AI answers?

It is the proportion of brand mentions each agency takes within the total of the answers analysed. If out of a hundred brand mentions across all the answers, fourteen correspond to one agency, that agency has 14% share of voice. It is different from visibility, which measures in what percentage of the answers it appears at least once.

How do I measure this for my own company?

The free version is doing it by hand: define the ten or twenty questions one of your clients would ask before buying, ask them in the four engines, and note whether they name you and alongside whom. Repeat it every month on the same date and with the same questions. The tool version automates that counting and adds the detail of which URLs each engine cites, which is what lets you know where the work needs to be done.

The merit rankings we publish with weighted criteria

This page measures who artificial intelligence names, which is not the same as assessing who is worth hiring. For that we publish three comparisons with declared criteria and weights, all of them with the verified Google reviews criterion worth 40 points.

Submit your agency or correct a detail

This ranking is not paid for: we do not charge to appear and we do not sell featured positions. If your agency does SEO in Chile and is not listed, or if a detail about it is wrong, write to hola@bigbuda.com with the public evidence that backs it up. We review and reply within the following five business days, and where appropriate we correct the entry, noting the date of the change.

Bigbuda edits this ranking and appears first in it; the measurement behind it is published with its queries, its date and its weighted criteria, and no one is charged to appear nor are featured positions sold. This correction channel was added on September 16, 2026 following our own audit of the agency rankings that artificial intelligence cites in Chile, where we were losing points precisely for not having one.
